SprayCheck® TW Monitoring Device

Thursday, August 13th, 2009
Verifies and validates operation of tank cleaning nozzles

SprayCheck TW is the first monitoring device to work from the exterior and to require no modification of the tank. It provides highly sensitive monitoring and complete reporting on tank washing nozzle performance.

Using an acoustic sensor linked to the monitoring device and diagnostic software, SprayCheck TW “listens” for changes that indicate:

  • Changes in rotation speed and frequency
  • Spray loss
  • Nozzle clogging
  • Pressure variation

Audible and visual alarms notify operators as soon as corrective action is needed. Reporting tools provide detailed documentation of cleaning operations for food, pharmaceutical, chemical and other processors who must stay in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

SprayCheck TW is easy to install since its non-intrusive acoustic sensor mounts on the tank exterior. It is the only system that can be used with pressurized and non-pressurized tanks of all sizes and configurations.

Motor-Driven Tank Washers

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

Motor-driven tank washers use solid stream nozzles to provide high-impact cleaning and remove stubborn residue. The motor, air or electric, drives the nozzle assembly. Two to four nozzles revolve around the central axis of the nozzle assembly. Motors are positioned outside the tank for longer wear life.

Motorized tank washers offer independent control of the liquid pressure for cleaning and the rotational speed (cycle time) to optimize the cleaning process. Units are customizable to your operations by changing flow rates by using different nozzles or by adjusting inlet pressure.

Various shaft lengths available.

Fluid Driven Constant Speed Tank Wash Nozzles

Thursday, August 13th, 2009
Unlike conventional fluid-driven rotating nozzles where cleaning efficiency decreases as pressures increase, our Rokon® tank washing nozzles increase cleaning impact as the fluid pressure increases. The nozzles rotate at a constant speed of approximately 10 RPM when fluid pressure is between 15 to 230 psi (1 to 16 bar). Higher fluid pressure results in a direct increase in impact of the cleaning fluid. And high-impact spraying means liquid consumption is minimized and cleaning efficiency is improved. The limited rotational speed of the nozzle makes it highly useful for cleaning, sanitizing and foaming applications. Choose from a wide variety of sizes, capacities, materials and spray coverages.

Plastic FoamJet® Nozzles Provide Better Foam Cleaning and Reduce Chemical Costs

Friday, August 7th, 2009
FJ and FJP FoamJet nozzles deliver a highly-aerated long-lasting foam to provide more effective cleaning. The nozzle is designed to minimize chemical usage and is made from chemical-resistant and durable materials.

Plastic FoamJet nozzles are color coded for easy capacity identification and use UniJet® bodies to simplify installation and removal of the spray tips for maintenance, capacity change or replacement.

QuickJet® FoamJet (QJFJP) nozzles provide medium size foam drops and aeration. Producing an even rounded edge spray pattern, the QJFJP is ideal for use in manifolds and headers where multiple nozzles are needed with overlapping sprays.

Installation and maintenance is easy – no tools required and simple one-quarter turn automatic alignments. QuickJet FoamJet nozzle system also features an available check valve body to lower chemical usage.

Typical applications for Plastic FoamJet nozzles include car washes, surface treatment, carpet cleaning and stain removal.

Spray Manifolds, Headers and Showers

Friday, August 7th, 2009
We have a wide range of standard stainless steel spray headers and showers. Options include: Shower Headers
  • Manual brush header/shower that utilize a hand wheel to rotate the brush assembly for quick and easy nozzle clean-out
  • Automatic brush header/shower that use a motor assembly to automatically rotate the internal brushes
  • Brushless header/shower that use ShowerJet® disc-type nozzles instead of a brush assembly to provide cleaning

During the cleaning cycle:

  • Spraying operation continues – brush activation does not impact system performance
  • The brushes scrub the interior of the header and each nozzle orifice
  • Debris is quickly removed and discharged through the flush-out valve. Full liquid flow is restored to the system without contaminating the sprayed surface
  • The header continues to spray during the flush-out operation

Special air atomizing headers are also available for critical moisturizing and applications with challenging physical space limitations or specific spray coverage requirements.

There are two basic options available:

  • Open channel, in stainless steel or aluminum, for use in applications where damage to the spray header/nozzles is unlikely
  • Enclosed box-style design, in 316 or 304 stainless steel, to protect the nozzles and feed lines

Descaling headers are also part of our offering. Often equipped with heat shields and protective plates, these headers can be fabricated in a wide variety of configurations and accommodate all of our DescaleJet® nozzles. We also offer custom solutions for a wide range of applications.

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

When it comes to automatic spray nozzles and control options, our selection is unmatched. You can choose from air or electrically actuated air atomizing or hydraulic nozzles in a wide variety of configurations, capacities, cycling speeds, materials and more. To optimize the performance of our automatic spray nozzles, add a spray controller from AutoJet® Technologies, our systems division. Powered by onboard spray application software, AutoJet Spray Controllers can monitor and precisely adjust spray variables. From simple timing control to complex closed-loop control, our patented technology enables benefits such as accurate spraying of moving targets, drip prevention on nozzle actuation or shut-off, maximizing cycle speed and more. The most recent additions to our line of automatic spray nozzles include:

  • 29JAUCO Automatic Air Atomizing Spray Nozzle offers continuous duty or high-speed cycling up to 1000 cycles per minute
  • Block Manifold Air Atomizing Assembly eliminates the need for external hoses, flexible tubing and connectors. Maintenance time is reduced from hours to minutes
  • Precision Metering Nozzle enables quick adjustments of liquid flow in 5% increments from 0 to 100%
  • PulsaJet® family of automatic spray nozzles provide accurate spray placement and excellent spray pattern integrity in a wide range of design options
  • VMAU Variable Spray Nozzle features modular components to provide solutions to your most demanding spray applications
